Your Junior members are the leaders of the future and the ones who will take over our duties and also will be the salvation of the organization along with the Sons of the American Legion. The Juniors were quite active at the National Convention in Milwaukee and I was impressed.

I really wish more of the members of Southeast District would attend a National Convention and get recharged. The next one is in Minneapolis, try to send someone.Other than that, keep on with collecting dues. Remember that I am willing to come and help any Unit that requests assistance.

Once again, it is up to each Unit to decide their future. Your services are really needed to help in this time of unrest, with servicemen and women and their families.
